BHSNA U7, U8, U9 Scoreboard Important update Motion moved at the BHSNA AGM, held Saturday 10th Novemebr 2012. “That the score sheet for the 7 years and 8 years only have the names and positions played recorded on them” Therefore, beginning this year no scores will be kept for those age groups. This is to foster a less competitive nature in the modified grades with the idea that these young players be encouraged to learn the basic skills of netball and to have fun. U9 will be allowed to record scores for the purpose of end of year grading but are to be encouraged to foster the same type of spirit of learning and fun. The club fully supports this motion and will endeavour this year to be more proactive in making sure parents, players, coaches and spectators of not only the modified grades but all grades be well versed in the codes of conduct by distributing information regarding codes of conducts within the first few weeks of competition. |
